Tina Rad is a Co-Managing Partner of Wagener Law, and she oversees the Orange County practice of the firm. She has practiced labor and employment law since 2008, first as an advocate, and for the last decade as a full-time neutral investigator. Tina joined Wagener Law in 2015 to focus her practice on neutral fact-finding and pursue her passion for finding out “what really happened.”
Tina conducts and supervises high-level, complex, and sensitive investigations involving C-suite members, owners, and other executives. Clients entrust her with investigations involving myriad parties or claims, the need for delicacy and diplomacy, or the potential for negative press.
Tina distinguishes herself in the field by paying meticulous attention to detail, anticipating and acting early on her clients’ needs, and producing the highest-quality and most defensible work product. She applies empathy to every facet of her investigations: tailoring updates to her clients, treating every witness with humanity and dignity, minimizing disruption and conflict in the workplace, and making her verbal and written reports digestible and actionable. She seeks to be kind, engaging, and authentic in all facets of her life and her work.
Tina has worked with clients in a wide variety of work environments and industries, including in corporate, education, entertainment, medical/healthcare, legal, retail/service, energy, manufacturing, sales, and nonprofit sectors. She is also a frequent speaker and presenter on investigation-related topics.
Tina began her career at Sheppard Mullin, a premier law firm ranked among the “Best Law Firms” in the country by U.S. News and World Report. After five years there, she spent 1.5 years at a boutique employment law firm, Kading Briggs, before joining Wagener Law to focus exclusively on investigations.
Tina earned her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where she graduated cum laude. She was a Senior Editor of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review and also served as a small claims court mediator through the Harvard Mediation Program, where her interest in neutral dispute resolution first began.
She graduated magna cum laude from Rice University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English—two areas of study she still applies to her work daily.
Tina is admitted to practice law in California. She is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators, the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Women Lawyers Association, the Harvard Law School Association of Orange County, and the Harvard Law School Women’s Alliance of Orange County.
